Visual Echoes Better Beamer by Walt Anderson
With the extra flash power you need in the field!
New models....see below.
The unit by Visual Echoes packs flat, weighs less than 3 ounces and sets up
in 30 seconds. The result is a flash output that gains up to 3 full f-stops,
depending on your flash zoom setting. It is designed to be used with lenses
300mm or longer and TTL flash units. You
can shoot at greater distances and/or with smaller apertures. Flash batteries
last longer too! The rugged, injection-molded plastic side supports are attached
to the flash head by a sturdy elastic band. The rigid side supports firmly
hold the Fresnel screen in place in both Horizontal and Vertical formats. Editor
Peter Burian of Outdoor & Nature Photography magazine had this to
say, "highly effective and by far the most portable accessory of this
type on the market. The gain of 2.5 to 3 stops in flash reach is a definite
benefit for adding catch-lights to the eyes in overcast conditions. Anyone
shooting action sports, birds or wildlife should carry one in his pack."

Now shipping with New and Stronger Fresnel Lens. Gain extra 1/3 to 1/2
stop!!
